Military Service
In 1909, Julius was classified for military service by the Royal High Commission in Berlin and attached to the Landstrum Regiment. He served in World War I and received the Iron Cross with Linden Tree Branches for bravery in action. Below are thumbnails of the cover and interior page of his military service book.
