Kassel was the site of various forced labor camps which were supplied by Buchenwald. Below are thumbnails of the front and back of a postcard postmarked March 9, 1942 from an inmate, Josef Kwivko, at the forced labor camp located at 149 Hollaend. Strasse, Kassel. The inmates worked for "Henschel". The card is identified in Lordahl as Type Ps2991.
