Grossraming

Philatelic Materials

Grossraming is a town in Austria near Steyr. It was the site of a subcamps of Mauthausen.  Below are thumbnails of an envelope dated July 10, 1944 from a camp located at Grossraming. The cover contains a cachet referring to "Konzetrationslager Grossraming".  It is likely that this cachet is a forgery, since the "n" is missing in Konzentrationslager.   Please click on the thumbnail to see the full image, and then click your back key or "Envelope" in the left frame to return.
