Below are thumbnails of two lettercards from prisoners at Gross-Rosen. The first is from F. Lhrobianek dated October 12, 1941. This lettercard is identified in Lordahl as Type L5aa with a Type C1 censor mark. Below are thumbnails of the front and back of a postcard to Gross-Rosen postmarked October 30, 1944, from the Polish town of Neu Sandec (Nowy Sacz). The card contains an arrival seal of the camp dated November 2, 1944. The card inquires as to whether the sender's son-in-law is at the camp and, if so, whether parcels may be sent. The card contains a cachet identified in Lordahl as SC6 indicating that the person is not in the camp.
