    Farge was a subcamp of Neuengamme located in Bremen.  About 2,100 prisoners were housed in Farge to work in a submarine yard.

Postcards

    Below are thumbnails of the front and back of two postcards from prisoners at Farge.  The first is from a  prisoner, W. Wojdel(#1904) to Litzmannstadt (Lodz) postmarked April 13,1944.  This postcard is identified in Lordahl as Type P3 with a Type C4 censor mark.  The second is from the same prisoner postmarked September 18, 1944 to Litzmannstadt.  This postcard is identified in Lordahl as Type P8C with a Type C3 censor mark.  Please click on the thumbnail to see the full image, and then click your back key or "Postcards" in the left frame to return.
