Busko-Zdroj, Poland

 

General

    Busko-Zdroj was a town located in the southeastern part of the Chelm district. After the German occupation in September, 1939, a Judenrat was established.  The Ghetto was created in April, 1941, and liquidated in October, 1942. It is estimated that about 2,000 Jews populated the Ghetto. These Jews were transferred to Treblinka.
